 Gran Paradiso mountain in Italy

Gran Paradiso National Park is Italy's version of Yellowstone. Located between Piedmont and Valle d'Aosta, the park is the oldest national park in the country. It was first created in 1922 to protect species that would otherwise have gone extinct, especially wild goats, which are now the main symbol of the park.

Gran Paradiso National Park covers more than 71,000 contributors and is the only one in the Gran Paradiso network. State park 168 individuals, 1124 plants, 59 glaciers and 183 lakes. Enjoying the nature of the park, only 0.2% of the park's area is urbanized and only 300 people live on its territory. I got a park in 13 municipalities with a population of 8,160 people, interested in history.

Gran Paradiso offers so many places to go, with 553 kilometers of trails to reach, captured from the ancient royal fishing net. There are five valleys dividing this wonderful and unspoiled region: Valle Soana, Valle Orco, Valle de Cogne, Valle de Remis and Val Savarinche.
